Jharkhand Assembly faces hindrances in its proceedings by ruckus of opposition

Ranchi, July 20: Jharkhand Assembly is facing instability in its proceedings because of the ruckus created by the opposition parties. Opposition MLAs on different issues, including lathi-charge on youth Congress workers on Thursday and alleged atrocities against minority community created a noisy scene in the house on Thursday.

 

Continued pandemonium forced Speaker Dinesh Oraon to suspend functioning of the house till 2 PM. And when the assembly reassembled after the lunch break, the opposition staged walk out on different issues. Some bills were passed amidst din before the house was adjourned till today.

In the Thursday morning, as soon as the assembly started at 11 AM, the opposition members raised different issues and trooped to the well of the house shouting slogans.

The ruling BJP slammed the opposition parties for stalling the assembly proceedings and thereby hurting the democratic pillars.

Recently, The Jharkhand assembly was on Tuesday adjourned till Wednesday as the opposition parties raised the Land Amendment Act 2017 issue and disrupted the house proceedings.
