Mob lynching not good for Society: Nobel laureate Kailash Satyarthi

Mumbai, July 23: Expressing concern over the unfortunate incidents of mob lynching, veteran activist and Nobel laureate Kailash Satyarthi said that violence under any condition is not good for the society.

In his recent interaction with Zee Digital, Satyarthi stated that recent development has created an environment of fear among amongst the people.

Condemning the extreme emotional outage which leads to unruly events like lynching, the Nobel laureate opined that silence of stakeholder would ruin the social fabric of our country. He urged concern state government to take stern action against the culprits.

On the issue of Rape and child trafficking, Satyarthi called for a social boycott against those who are involved in such a monstrous act.

When asked about the trolling on various Social media platforms, Satyarthi opined that the digital platform portrays the ill health of our society.

The Nobel laureate also blamed politicians and religious leaders for keeping mum on such sensitive issue. “Politics has deteriorated, religions have declined,” said Satyarthi.
