Politically motivated Chandra Babu unnecessarily defaming Centre: Andhra BJP Chief Kanna Laxminarayana

Vijayawada, July 23: Days after the high voltage political drama over no-confidence motion in the lower House, Andhra BJP state president Kanna Laxminarayana said that Chandrababu Naidu’s allegations about central assistance were politically motivated.

Addressing the party function here, refuting the charges of Naidu, Laxminarayana claimed that state government was deliberately hiding true facts regarding central assistance extended by the Modi government. He dubbed no-confidence motion as unnecessary ‘drama’ by TDP leaders.

Shading light on the construction of Polavaram project, the former minister stated that Andhra was getting adequate funds for the construction of the national irrigation project.

Launching a fierce attack on TDP leadership, the senior BJP leader accused Babu of nonfulfillment of the poll promises by the yellow army. He further added that Chandra Babu’s blame game has exposed the poor state of affairs under TDP regime. Kana urged BJP worker to gear up for the upcoming 2019 general elections.

On Saturday, TDP National President Chandrababu Naidu lashed out at BJP led NDA government for betraying Telugu people. In an official media interaction in Delhi, Naidu questioned the speech of Prime Minister Modi and accused BJP of misusing power against TDP.

Earlier, senior BJP leader Daggubati Purandeshwari took a dig at Chandrababu’ Delhi Visit. The former union minister stated that Chief Minister’s Delhi visit exposes the nexus between TDP and the Congress.
