New Delhi, July 25: Questioning Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s absence in the ongoing Monsoon session of the parliament, senior Congress leader Mallikarjun Kharge said that instead of going for a 5-day tour, the Prime Minister could have attended the Parliament session where important issues are being discussed.

Speaking to the media, the Gulbarga MP took a dig at Modi and said that as ruling party enjoys absolute majority so Prime Minister finds nothing wrong in skipping Parliament sessions.

When asked about Rafale Deal, the former Union Minister demanded a constitution of Parliament Joint Committee to probe the provisions of Rafale Deal. Citing the example of the Bofors case, Kharge, stated that the central government should come clean on a controversial deal.
