New Delhi, July 26: Terming Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf leader Imran Khan as a military-sponsored candidate, Union Minister RK Singh said that former skipper’s new innings won’t make any difference in existing Indo-Pak relations on the issue of state-sponsored terrorism.

As quoted by ANI, commenting on the trends of Pakistan elections, the former Union home secretary claimed that PTI Chief even after assuming the office of the Prime Minister will have to fall in line with the Pakistani military. The Power Minister further added that nothing would change as far as India is concerned.

Referring to the Pakistani media, Singh claimed that Pak Military had spearheaded the electoral campaign for the legendary cricketer. He went on saying that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chief had teamed up with Military bosses to ensure the conviction of former PM Nawaz Sharif and his daughter.

Imran Khan’s Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf has emerged as the single largest party with 118 seats whereas Nawaz Sharif’s Pakistan Muslim League has bagged 60 segments. Asif Ali Zardari's Pakistan Peoples Party is leading in 35 seats.
