Sri Lanka President, Maithripala Sirisena extends wishes for Karunanidhi’s health

Chennai, July 30: Representatives of Sri Lanka President, Maithripala Sirisena today visited Kauvery hospital where DMK Chief M Karunanidhi is undergoing treatment for urinary tract infection.
As quoted by ANI, the Sri Lanka delegation met Karunanidhi’s son and DMK working President MK Stalin and conveyed best wishes from Maithripala Sirisena for Karunanidhi’s speedy recovery.
The former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister has been under observation in Kauvery hospital as he is suffering from fever due to urinary tract infection.
Today NCP Chief Shard Pawar flew down to Chennai and inquired about the health of legendary film personality. On Sunday, Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu along with Tamil Nadu Governor Banwarilal Purohit and met Karunanidhi.
