New Delhi, July 31: The supreme leader of any of the democratic country i.e. either a President or Prime Minister must give first preference to the people, must take decisions only in the favour citizens and also must take suggestions. Continuing his own trend, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has sought suggestions from the citizens on his Independence Day speech from Red Fort on August 15.

He said that the suggestions can be sent through his website MyGov.in or through the Narendra Modi mobile application. He said, “As India readies to mark her 72nd Independence Day on August 15th, here is your chance to contribute towards nation building. If you have ideas and suggestions, share it in the comments section below. The Prime Minister may mention some of them in his address.”

While in a tweet, PM Modi invited the citizens of India saying, “What are your thoughts and ideas for my 15th August speech? Share them with me on a specially created forum on the Narendra Modi App. You can also share them on MyGov. https://www.mygov.in/group-issue/give-suggestions-prime-ministers-speech-independence-day-2018/ … I look forward to receiving your fruitful inputs in the coming days.”

Last year also, PM Modi invited suggestions from the citizens on his Independence Day speech and mentioned some of them in his address.
