Hong Kong based electronics manufacturer Astrum to set up plant in Andhra Pradesh

Amaravati, July 5: In order to boost the electronic manufacturing, Andhra Pradesh government has joined hands with Hong Kong-based firm Astrum. On Wednesday, a Memorandum of Understudying has been signed between state government and consumer electronics manufacturer. On this occasion, IT Minister Nara Lokesh and other officials were present.
Informing about the new collaboration, the IT Minister took to Twitter and updated about the development. The electronic manufacturing firm with an investment of Rs.100 Cr will set up a manufacturing plant at Tirupathi.

According to state officials, Astrum will produce audio devices, LED lights, accessories for mobile, computer components, gaming controllers. With this venture, near about 1000 new job opportunities will be created.
