UNESCO to develop Gaming University in Vishakhapatnam

Vijayawada, July 6: International body United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation(UNESCO) is all set to develop a special university for Gaming. The proposed institute will be built in the city of Vishakhapatnam.

UNESCO in association with Andhra Pradesh Economic Development Board (APEDB) will develop a 'Gaming Digital Learning Hub'. The top body has officially signed an agreement with the state government for the development of gaming industry.

According to media reports, top IT firms like UBSoft, Samsung, Microsoft are ready to start operations in the proposed gaming varsity. With this establishment, near about 50,000 employment opportunities will be generated in the field of digital gaming.
