Srinagar, July 6: It’s not yet been a month when an Army jawan named Aurangzeb was abducted and killed by terrorists. However, in the same way, a group of terrorists cowardly abducted a policeman Javid Ahmad Dar and brutally killed him when he was unarmed.

Notably, the bullet-riddled body of a Jammu and Kashmir police constable Javid Ahmad Dar was found by locals in Kulgam's Pariwan on Friday morning. Javid Ahmad Dar was abducted from near his home at Vehil village in Shopian on Thursday night when he was shopping at the local medical shop.

According to the sources, a group of terrorists came in a Santro car and abducted the constable on gunpoint. Dar was kidnapped when he was off-duty as well as unarmed. Immediately after the incident, a massive search operation was launched but unfortunately, he was found dead.

So far none of the terrorist group has taken responsibility of the cold-blooded murder of Javid Ahmad Dar. The Wreath laying ceremony of constable Javid Ahmad Dar took place on Friday in Jammu and Kashmir.

The Jammu and Kashmir police in a tweet said, “Wreath laying ceremony for Martyr Javaid Ahmad held at DPL Shopian.SSP Shopian Shri Sandeep Choudhary IPS led the Police officers and jawans in laying the floral tributes on the mortal remains of the martyr.”

Last month, a Special Police Officer (SPO) went missing in Pampore district of Jammu and Kashmir. The officer reportedly left Pampore police station with an AK-47 rifle along with him. This comes less than a month after an Indian Army personnel, Aurangzeb, was kidnapped and later killed by terrorists in Pulwama district of Jammu and Kashmir.
