Security forces wipe out 3 Naxals from Dantewada-Sukma border region of Chhattisgarh

Raipur, July 6: In the Maoist-affected Bastar region of Chhattisgarh, security forces have got big success in an encounter. During an encounter in Dantewada district, the security forces have killed three Naxalites.



 

DIG P Sundarraj has confirmed the killing of three Naxalites during the encounter. Giving information about the encounter with the Maoists in Dantewada, he told, "Three Maoists have been killed in an encounter with the security forces on Dantewada-Sukma border. One of our Jawan is also injured.”

Earlier on July 4, the Joint Police Force in Narayanpur district had killed two Naxalites in two encounters during the search operation in the forest. During this operation, arms and literature in large quantities were also seized. In Naxal-affected areas, anti-Naxal operations are being carried out continuously by district forces, Chaskbal, STF and ITBP.

In the last few years, the Maoists carried out many major attacks in Chhattisgarh, where many jawans of security forces were killed.
