Himachal to organize Haj camps for hajjis in Ramshehar, Chamba and Shimla

Shimla, July 7: Himachal Pradesh is all set to organize the Haj camps for the hajjis at three places including Ramshehar, Chamba and Shimla district of the state. Notably, over 80 haj pilgrims from Himachal Pradesh will embark to Saudi Arabia on July 14 this year.

 

The State government Spokesperson on Friday said that the Haj camps are going to be organized in the State for the hajjis-2018 at three places for which the trainers have also been appointed. Giving a brief information on this, the spokesperson said that for the pilgrims of district Solan and Sirmour (50 Pilgrims) camp will be organized at Madarsa Faleh Dirain, Ram sheher road, Nalagarh in District Solan on 10 July 2018. The Trainer for this camp is Salahuddin (phone number- 94188-11186 and 64180-07018).

He further said, “For the pilgrims of district Chamba and Kangra (13 Pilgrims) camp has been scheduled at Madni Madarsa, Maswadi Sahu road, Chamba on 9 July 2018 with Bashir (Phone 98169-80385 and 88948-46050) as Trainer.”

“Another camp will be organized at Saunjouli Masjid, Shimla on 11 July 2018 for the pilgrims of District Shimla and Mandi (18 Pilgrims) and Salahuddin has been appointed as Trainer,” he added.

The spokesperson also noted that the vaccination will also be administered during these camps. “The field Trainer will conduct the camps for the training of the pilgrims and will keep in contact with the local administration and medical authorities,” he concluded.

Importantly, a total of 1,75,025 Indians will be going for Haj this year, of which 1,28,702 pilgrims will be traveling through the Haj Committee of India.
