Doubts on railways food preparation? Then see IRCTC kitchen live!

New Delhi, July 7: Complaints often related to the food served in the trains get emerged when we see railway food paced plates in front of us but now they will be getting rid soon as IRCTC has started live streaming of its cooking and packaging process. By which travelers will be able to watch food preparation live.

 

Live streaming enables travelers to see things like cooking and kitchen cleaning live. Railway Minister Piyush Goyal recently suggested this move in a review meeting. According to a statement from IRCTC, Railway Board chairman Ashwini Lohani inaugurated live streaming of food preparations at the IRCTC website.

The links to these videos will be shared in the gallery section of the IRCTC website, where the passengers will be able to easily see the whole process. In a statement, the Railways said, "Live Streaming will help in increasing the trust and transparency of people in the quality of food produced in the IRCTC Base Kitchen.

As a pilot initiative, the Noida kitchen has been displayed on the live streaming but soon all the kitchens will be aired on the website.

IRCTC recently launched an Artificial Intelligence Tool which detects the disturbances occurring in the hygiene level of food through CCTV footage.
