Chandra Babu Naidu to attend World Cities Summit in Singapore

Amaravati, July 7: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandra Babu Naidu will attend the prestigious World Cities Summit beginning from 8th July, in Singapore. He will deliver a keynote address at World Cities Summit Mayors' Forum.

The Chief Minister will share his vision about sustainable smart cities. During his three-day official visit, Babu will meet dignitaries from different countries to seek support for the development of proposed state capital Amaravati.

According to state officials, On June 10, Naidu will hold the bilateral meeting with important leaders like Tharman Shanmugaratnam Deputy Prime Minister of Singapore, Finance Minister Heng Swee Keat, Minister for National Development Lawrence Wong, Singapore Information and Communications Minister S Iswaran and Sri Lanka Prime Minister Ranil Wickramesinghe.

With a special pavilion, State bodies like Capital Region Development Authority (CRDA) and AP Economic Development Board will portray various initiates of state government in the field of Urban Development and town planning.
