Kolkata, August 10: Have a look at this new avatar of EMU local train’s ladies compartment of Sealdah division of Eastern Railways with aesthetics & interior decoration. You might be thinking that is true that a local train compartment with interior decoration? Yes, this is true; a beautifully decorated compartment has been attached in Barasat-Sealdah section.

 

The pictures show that beautiful nature scenes have been painted in the interior demonstrating a protocol to save the environment. It is showing one of the beauties of nature, inheriting species which are on the verge of extinct that is a small and sweet sparrow. It not only enhances the nature’s beauty but also connects the urban areas to the simple life of rural areas, as it is showing a small hut, clean river, and trees.

 

A good endeavor by the Railway department in its efforts to connect the masses with nature, the department also brings people close to it highlighting the need to protect and preserve the environment. This effort will hinder the mishappenings of throwing litters in the compartment and other like attempts. A way to create awareness about cleanliness and preserving nature, the Sealdah Railway division has won many praises with this attempt.

 

Like this kind of thing has happened in Mumbai local stations where the staircases, bridges were painted to colorify the premises but this kind of initiative is a pilot step.
