London, August 13: No matter how many times and in whatever ways Pakistan try to break India or equality amongst Indians, they will never succeed. Pakistan has never succeeded in destroying integrity, equality of India in past and neither it will succeed in future. Notably, the so-called Referendum 2020- a plot of Pakistan in Trafalgar Square in London turned out to be the biggest flop as it failed to draw an anti-India support.

As soon as the Khalistani elements consisting of handful people began their protest, a large number of Indians living in UK gathered at Trafalgar Square and sung patriotic songs to destroy Pakistan-backed Referendum 2020 event. They, through their presence, sent out a message of united India to the world.

The Pakistan-backed Referendum 2020 event was attended by Gurpatwant Singh Pannun, who is a New York-based lawyer, is a close associate of prominent Sikh extremists, like Jagtar Singh Tara of Khalistan Tiger Force and UK-based Paramjit Singh Pamma. British-Pakistani Lord Nazir Ahmed also attended the event which proved that the so-called non-binding Referendum 2020 was designed and conceived by Pakistan.

Meanwhile, Sikh separatists, including the chief of Dal Khalsa, a Sikh separatist based in London, Jaswant Singh Thekedar widely condemned the Pakistan-backed propaganda. They said, "The Referendum 2020 is totally unlawful and the voting will have no relevance".

On the other side, Shiromani Akali Dal leader Naresh Gujral said, "Very miniscule Sikh population settled abroad is participating in this. No Sikh in India has sympathy for this as Sikhs are loyal Indians. They have made more sacrifices for India than any other community.”

“It's an attempt by ISI to foment trouble in Punjab. It is financed by ISI. Pakistan and ISI have been trying hard for a long time to create problems in Punjab. They failed in Kashmir and want to move the stage to Punjab," he added.
