Indore unfurls world’s longest tricolor and the distance is 12 km!

Bhopal, August 13: Three days before the Independence Day, a large number of people presented beautiful scenes of patriotism by hoisting a 12-kilometer long tricolor. It has been described as 'the longest tricolor dedicated to the country'.


 

The 12 km long tricolor covered the area of Mhow Naka square to Chankayapuri Square. Thousands of people were gathered in order to celebrate this festival of patriotism. The family members of eminent freedom fighters Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev and Dr. Gayaprashad Katiyar were present in open jeep along the route.

Hundreds of youth were found standing this tricolor by six kilometers in two rows. In this program, people of more than 40 communities of Hindu, Muslim, Sikh and Christian communities participated in this program wearing traditional costumes. The forces marched past.

Earlier, in Indore, the Airport Authority of India organized mini marathon from Devi Ahilya Airport of Indore on Sunday morning under the Independence Festival, in which a large number of young people of the city participated in the children and society.
