Mumbai, Aug 16: Former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee is undoubtedly the most admired and respected leader across the party line. Now, first-time actor Ram Avatar Bhardwaj is all set to bring the charismatic character of Vajpayee on the silver screen.

Bhardwaj will enter into the shoes of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee in a movie based on the book ‘The Accidental Prime Minister’ penned by Sanjay Baru, former Media advisor to then Prime Minister Manmohan Singh where award-winning actor Anupam Kher will be essaying the role of former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh.
The flick revolves around the controversial events of the Congress-led UPA government. Makers will recreate the power tussle between former Congress President Sonia Gandhi and Dr. Manmohan Singh.
The project will be helmed by debutant Vijay Ratnakar Gutte whereas Hansal Mehta is working as the creative producer.
The film will hit the screen on December 21.
