Chennai, Aug 16: Actor turned Politician Kamal Haasan on Wednesday heaped praises on Gram Sabha initiatives organized by his political outfit Makkal Needhi Maiam.
The ace actor took to Twitter and expressed happiness over the massive public response to Gram Sabha.

Terming Gram Sabha as the internal army, Haasan maintained that by strengthening basic institutions like Gram Sabhas, common citizen can fight against corruption and other social evils.
Marking the occasion of 72nd Independence day, Kamal Haasan’s Makkal Needhi Maiam organized a series of Gram Sabhas across the state of Tamil Nadu.
