Andhra Pradesh proposes former PM Atal Bihari Vajpayee’s name for Mangalagiri AIIMS

Amaravati, Aug 18: As a mark of respect to the late former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee, Andhra Pradesh state government has decided to name the Mangalagiri AIIMS after the great leader.
According to media reports, Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu has requested central government has urged center to initiate the required procedure for the same.
During Vajpayee’s tenure, Telugu Desam Party was part for the NDA government. Personally, Naidu had a warm relationship with the former Prime Minister. According to Naidu, Atal Bihari Vajpayee was instrumental in bringing big-bang reforms in the Telecomm sector.
