Chennai, Aug 23: For the first time, throwing light on Kamal Haasan’s much-anticipated Sabaash Naidu, actress Shruti Haasan said that makers have not shelved the multi-lingual project.

In a recent media interaction, Shruti informed that the project is very much on cards and shooting will recommence soon. During Vishwaroopam 2 promotions, Kamal Haasan said that he would quite cinema in order to devote more time to political activities.

Sabaash Naidu is a tri-lingual made in Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi. It was launched in 2016 but got delayed due to Haasan’s injury. Besides Kamal Haasan, actors like Brahmanandam, Ramya Krishnan, Manu Narayan and Jason Shah will be the part of the much-awaited project.

Legendary composer Ilayaraja has been roped in for music and DOP Jaya Krishna Gummadi will be cranking the camera. The film is being produced under the banner of Raaj Kamal Films International in association with Lyca Productions.

Kamal Haasan was last seen in espionage thriller Vishwaroopam 2 which tanked on box office. After completing the stint of Big Boss 2, the ace actor will join the sets of Indian 2, the sequel of director Shankar’s iconic movie Indian.
