Chennai, August 28: After mesmerizing Hindi audience, Nawazuddin Siddiqui is all ready to make his mark in Tamil film Industry. Today, the versatile actor finally joined the sets of his first Tamil film where he will share the screen space with none other than Superstar Rajinikanth.

Updating about the first-day shoot, Nawazuddin took to Twitter and shared a snapshot.

“Rehearsing my lines for my first Tamil movie #Thalaivar165, Delighted to be working with the Superstar #Thalaivar, ” he wrote.


Responding to Nawazuddin’s twitter message, director Karthik Subbaraj welcomed the maverick actor on sets of Thalaivar 165, as dubbed by Rajini fans.

The award-winning was last seen in Netflix series Sacred Games and received critical acclaims from viewers. Besides Rajinikanth, the movie has experienced artists like Simaram, Trisha Krishnan and, Vijay Sethupathi. The grand project is being produced by Sun Pictures, a leading production house in Tamil filmdom.

After moderate box-office performance of Pa Ranjeeth's Kaala, stakes are high on Superstar Rajinikanth latest offering with young filmmaker Karthik Subbaraj.
