Gandhinagar/ New Delhi, Aug 28:  After the long gap of almost one year, ahead of the crucial 2019 general election, Former Gujarat Chief Minister Shankersinh Vaghela has decided to rally behind the proposed non-Congress-BJP regional forces.

The veteran leader after quitting Congress in 2017 had kept away from active political activities. But it is believed the Vaghela is all set for the political comeback where he might team up with regional outfits to curtail the prospects of BJP and Congress. According to media reports, the former BJP leader opined that both national parties have failed miserably to address the aspirations of common man.

As quoted by Nav Gujarat Samay, Vaghela is quite keen to establish political platform like third –front, earlier coined by the leaders of regional parties like Sharad Pawar, Mamata Banerjee, and K Chandrashekhar Rao. The political buzz is that the former Chief Minister is currently in talks with NCP Chief Sharad Pawar.
