Change in Aadhaar address more easier with this new PIN service

Mumbai, August 3: Now you can easily change your address in Aadhar card. UIDAI will start a new service from April next year. This will enable the Aadhaar Card holder to easily make changes to his address. This will help those who do not have the proof of local resident and those who stay rent. Under the service, UIDAI will send a secret pin through the letter to the Aadhaar card holder. These secret PINs will be the same as banks send a secret PIN of credit card or debit card to your address.

 

Aadhaar card holder will get the facility to change his address only through this one letter and PIN number. UIDAI informed in a notification on Tuesday that this new service is proposed to be launched from April 1. UIDAI said that the residents who do not have any valid proof of their current residence location.

They can request the verification of the address through the basis of the PIN code. Once the person gets this letter, he can change the address on his base on the SSUP online portal through this secret PIN.

It is worth noting that this will benefit those who live in the rented house or leave their city and work as laborers in other cities or places. UIDAI said that the pilot of this new service will commence from January 1, 2019 and it is proposed to start operations from April 1, 2019.
