Chittoor, Aug 30: Taking exceptions to the Chief Minister Nara Chandra Babu Naidu’s Muslim Minister announcement, BJP leader V Muraleedharan said that Naidu’s move exposes the agenda of minority appeasement.

Addressing the gathering of party workers here, the Rajya Sabha MP said that induction of a Muslim Minister keeping eye on general election is a sinister design of vote bank politics.

In his recent meeting, Babu informed that a Muslim lawmaker would soon be inducted into the state cabinet. He asked Muslim community to rally behind TDP in order to safeguard the future of Andhra Pradesh. He slammed YSR Congress and Pawan Kalyan’s Jana Sena for joining hands with BJP.

After snapping ties with BJP on the issue of special category status, Chandra Babu is keen on regaining the lost support among Minority community. According to media reports, in 2014 with BJP’s presence, TDP lost a major chunk of votes which eventually helped YSR Congress.
