TDP President Chandra Babu Naidu meets H D Kumaraswamy; pitches for collective efforts against NDA

Vijayawada, Aug 31: Andhra Pradesh Chandra Babu Naidu today met Karnataka Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy here. The JD(S) leader was in the city to visit the Kanaka Durga temple.
During this courtesy meeting, the chief Ministers discussed the roadmap for the possible tie-up against BJP led NDA. On this occasion, Irrigation Ministers Devineni Umamaheswara Rao, and other TDP lawmakers were present.
During this informal deliberations, the regional leaders expressed concern over the current political situation in the country. According to media reports, Telugu Desam party after spoiling BJP’s poll prospects in Karnataka assembly elections is keen on a pre-poll understanding with JD(S).
In Karnataka assembly elections, TDP openly asked Telugu citizens living in Karnataka to dump BJP for betraying Andhra Pradesh on the issue of the special category status.
