KTR refutes pre-poll theory; says Telangana Rashtra Samithi to go alone

Hyderabad, Aug 31: Amidst the speculation of poll understanding between Telangana Rashtra Samithi and BJP, IT Minister KT Rama Rao clarified that the ruling party has no plans of striking any pre-poll deal with other political parties. Addressing the gathering of party workers, Rao opined that TRS under the leadership of K Chandrasekhar Rao will sweep assembly and Lok Sabha election.

Speculations were high about the possible tie-up with BJP after the series of meeting between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and KCR. On September 2, with the mega event called Pragathi Nivedana, Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao will officially kick-off the poll drive of the pink party. According to media reports, KCR will shed light on reported early polls in the state.

Recounting the achievements of TRS government, Rao mentioned that people of Telangana will back TRS for various developmental schemes introduced by the Chief Minister. He further added that political parties like BJP and TDP have failed to address the relevant issues faced by the people.
