Dehradun, August 4: Now the government has been cautious with the increasing number of illegal Bangladeshi and Rohingya in the state. Intelligence agencies have been keeping an eye on the persons coming from outside and they have been asked to prepare their detailed report so that they can be traced.

Not only this but these settlers settling in slums have now started claiming even on government schemes. Among all these, the government has also made it clear that such people living in the habitations who are not Indians will not be provided access to the housing facility run by the government. Actually, the number of Bangladeshi people living illegally in the state is increasing constantly.

In this regard, the intelligence agencies have been continuously providing input to the government. However, no concrete action plan has been made so far to stop them.

According to sources, intelligence agencies are digging out in the state the number of outsiders residing illegally and provided the information to the government. In the statement given to a news channel on Thursday, Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat expressed his concern over the piling up the numbers on Rohingyas and Bangladeshis in the state.

He said that the Intelligence agencies are doing their job in this case. According to sources, intelligence agencies in Haridwar and other lowland districts have started gathering information of outsiders in slums. A detailed report is being prepared, which will soon be sent to the govt.
