New Delhi, August 6: As the entire world still shakes on recalling the worst nightmare ‘Hiroshima and Nagasaki Nuclear Attack’ that gives goosebumps resonating the nastiest attack. Marking 73 years of the dreadful attack, the scares of the violence are still afresh in the minds of millions. The world pays tribute to the Hiroshima Nagasaki attack owing respect to the thousands who lost their lives and others who were injured and still suffer the bouts of the inhuman violence.

 

How harmful Nuclear weapon can be for the human race the world knows it already. World History will never forget 6th and 9th August bearing the memory of first ever nuclear attack. Two cities in Japan Hiroshima and Nagasaki suffered lifetime damage. This has created a permanent hesitation for Japan regarding nuclear weapons, treaties. Japan Prime minister Shinzo Abe made it clear the nation still wants to the world without nuclear weapons.

“Little Boy” and “Fat Man” not only killed a mass amount of people but affected the next generations also. Brigadier-General Paul Warfield Tibbets Junior pilot of the first plane (Enola Gay) to drop the atomic bomb what he saw, he described as “a peep into hell.” 2 lakhs death were just the beginning of the killing parade. Due to the high radiation effect, three generations suffered from cancer and several more harmful diseases.

Japan pledges to stand against violence

Devoting condolence to the spirit of many people who sacrificed their lives in the atomic bomb dropping and made a decision to never repeat the tragedy of Hiroshima, Japan Prime Minister Shinzo Abe paid tribute to the people of Hiroshima attending a ceremony at Peace Memorial Park.

Pledging to work hard and never give up, PM Shinzo Abe vowed that as the only war-atomic-bombed country, Japan will continue to strive hard to bridge both nuclear-weapon states and non-nuclear-weapon states, and will continue to make further efforts toward the realization of a "world without nuclear weapons.

Recreating the appalling outbreak by Virtual Reality

Owing a tribute to the people who lost their precious lives in the dreadful attack, a group of Japanese students painstakingly produced a five-minute virtual reality experience that recreates the sights and sounds of Hiroshima before, during and after the U.S. dropped an atomic bomb on the city 73 years ago.

 

The VR experience jotted by the students and teachers has worked as a hope to ensure that something similar never happens again. Wearing virtual reality headsets, users can take a walk along the Motoyasu River prior to the blast and see the businesses and buildings that once stood. They can enter the post office and the Shima Hospital courtyard, where the skeletal remains of a building now known as the Atomic Bomb Dome stand on the river's banks, a testament to what happened.

"Seventy-three years ago, Hiroshima and Nagasaki were attacked with atomic bombs. Thousands were killed, lakhs of people were injured and even today, the residents there are facing the impact of the bomb. India has led the way in maintaining peace and stability. India has always tried to attain peace for all," she said.

"Let us today reaffirm our pledge to destroy weapons of mass destruction and work towards global peace and brotherhood," the Speaker added.

Members also observed a two-minute silence as a tribute to those who lost their lives in the attack.
