Defence Ministry will address the land transfer issue raised by Telangana govt: Nirmala Sitharaman assures KTR

 

Sitharaman took to Twitter and said, “Of course @KTRTRS garu. No hesitations. Wish our officials work the details together for finalisation”.

On Monday, citing the example of Karnataka’s 210 acres of defence land transfer, the Young Minister sought Sitharaman’s intervention to clear the defence land for two important skyways in Hyderabad city.

“I hope the same courtesy/principle can be extended to Telangana. We’ve been consistently requesting GoI for over 2 years for 160 acres of defence land for two important skyways in Hyderabad city”, Rao twitted.

On August 4, Defence minister Nirmala Sitharaman cleared the desk for 210 acres defence land transfer proposal of Karnataka government. This land will be used for the civic infrastructure project.
