DMK working President MK Stalin slams TN government for creating chaos

Chennai, Aug 8: Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) working President MK Stalin levelled a serious allegation on the state government. Addressing DMK supporters, Stalin claimed that the ruling party was making deliberate attempts to create chaos.

In an emotional appeal, late Karunanidhi’s son urged cadre not to lose cool and asked them to co-operate with police in order to avoid any law and order situation. Reacting to the verdict of Madras High court, The DMK working President thanked party member for their love and support for their beloved Kalaignar.

Taking a dig at EPS government for denying the permission to perform burial of former Chief Minister M Karunanidhi at Marina Beach here, the DMK Leader said,“I do not want anything for myself. All I want is a fitting tribute to Kalaignar”. Stalin also blamed the state government for poor security arrangements.

On Tuesday, Tamil Nadu government had denied the request of a burial space for Karunanidhi near Anna Memorial at Marina beach. Irked with the government’s decision, the principal opposition party filed a plea in the court. Today, the Madras High Court granted permission for Karunanidhi’s burial at iconic Marina Beach.
