Army prepares hit-list of top terrorists operating in JK; terrorists set free all hostages immediately

Srinagar, September 1: Fear of death leads terrorist nil-down and free all the hostages immediately. Hours after the Indian Army released a new hit list of terrorists operating in Jammu and Kashmir all the nine people who were kidnapped from different parts of the valley were freed on Friday evening.

 

Notably, the Indian Army released a new hit list of terrorists from Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM), Hizbul Mujahideen (HM), Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT), Al Badr, Ansar Ghazwat-ul-Hind operating in Jammu and Kashmir. As soon as the list was released, fearing to death, the terrorists released all the nine hostages.

Hizbul Mujahideen tops the list with 7 commanders named by the security forces in their hit list, followed by LeT with 6 terrorists, Al Badr with 1, JeM with 2 and Ansar Gazwat Ul Hind with 1. The seven District Commanders of Hizbul Mujahideen are Riyaz Naikoo Alias Mohammad Bin Qasim, Saifullah Alias Abu Musaib, Zeenat Ul Islam Alias Usmaan, Hilal Alias Abu Maaz (replaced by Altaf Kachroo), Adil Bhat Alais Abu Umair Al Hizbi and Manan Wani Alias Abu Hamza.

The District Commanders of Lashkar are Firdous Alias Abu Hanzalla, Mushtaq Mir, Idress Bhat, Azad Malik Alias Abu Zaid, Abu Zargam and Saleem Billu. The Al Badr Commander is Arjumand Gulzar Alias Faisal bhai. Commanders of JeM are Zahid Bhat and Shahijahan and Commander of Ansar Ghazwat-ul-Hind is Zakir Rashid Bhat Alias Moosa.

On Thursday, Pakistan-breeded terrorists abducted nine people from Shopian, Kulgam, Anantnag and Awantipora area of Jammu and Kashmir whose family members are either working in Jammu and Kashmir police or in the Army. Among those abducted was a brother of deputy superintendent of police is also included.

The abducted ones were identified a Zubair Ahmad Bhat (son of policeman Mohd Maqbool Bhat a resident of Arawani), Arif Ahmad Sankar (brother of station house officer Nazir Ahmad Sankar a resident of Arwani Bijbehara), Faizan Ahmad Makro (son of policeman Bashir Ahmad Makro a resident of Kharpora Kulgam), Sumar Ahmad Rather (son of policeman Ab.Salam Rather a resident of Yamrach Yaripora Kulgam), Gowher Ahmad Malik (brother of top police officer DSP Aijaz a resident of Katapora Kulgam), Yasir Ahmad Bhat (son of police officer ASI Bashir Ahmad Bhat abducted from Watho Shopian presently posted at CID Office Humhama Badgam.

Two other family members of policemen were identified as Nasir Ahmed from Mindora, Shabir Ahmad Zargar of Kangan Tral were kidnapped early in the evening. Terrorists also kidnapped Asif Ahmed Rather from Pinglish Tral. He is a son of a policeman Rafiq Ahmad Rather.
