New Delhi, September 10: Announcing the election bugle, Prime Minister Narendra Modi coined the slogan for Bharatiya Janata Party during the 2019 elections. ‘Ajay Bharat, Atal BJP’ is the slogan of a victorious India and resolute Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) to motivate party leaders and workers for the coming assembly polls and the 2019 general elections.

Addressing the BJP national executive meet, Modi said the slogan "Ajay Bharat, Atal BJP" will also pay tribute to the memory of part founder and former prime minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee. The slogan means an India which is victorious and cannot be subjugated by anyone and a party which is committed to its principles.

PM Modi asserted that for BJP, power is not an instrument of sitting on the chair but to work for the welfare of the people. Citing this, the Prime Minister said that there is need of development in the country and his government does not look at the caste, creed or religion of people when it works for their welfare. Prime Minister said, due to the government's schemes, five crore people have been lifted out of the poverty.

Taking a jibe at the opposition PM Modi said that he sees no challenge to the BJP in the next general elections and described unity efforts among opposition parties as a proof of his government's popularity and his party's big success. Scathing a sly remark, PM Modi accused Congress of having failed to raise the issues of public concern. He urged party workers to highlight the achievement of the NDA Government.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi took a dig at opposition parties effort to forge a grand alliance ahead of 2019 General elections alleging that it lacks leadership and its ideology is unclear and intention is corrupt. He said those who can't even see each other, are now joining hands for a grand alliance. He said it is a vindication of the work done by the NDA government.

Along with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, BJP President Amit Shah in his speech was confident and appealed his workers to work day in and out to make BJP win the elections. Earlier, the national executive passed a political resolution highlighting the works of NDA government in the last four years. It said this government has leadership, vision, passion and imagination for the development of the country. It also mentioned making new India by 2022 which will be free of poverty communalism, casteism, corruption, and terrorism.
