Not political activity for 2019 elections: Pollster Prashant Kishor

Hyderabad, Sept 10: Poll strategist and Indian Political Action Committee (I-PAC) Chief Prashant Kishor on Sunday rejected all the reports about his political comeback. Addressing the meeting of Indian School of Business (ISB) Leadership Summit here, Kishor clarified that he would not take any political assignment for upcoming forthcoming 2019 general elections.

The 41 –year Poll manager was instrumental in shaping Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s campaign with the help of Citizens for Accountable Governance (CAG) platform. In 2015, Kishor who originally hails from Bihar ensured the victory of Nitish Kumar led Mahagathbandhan in Bihar assembly election. For the first time, revealing about the future activities, Kishor stated that he would like to work in the field of village empowerment.

When asked about the leadership of Congress President Rahul Gandhi, the pollster opined that people should refrain from judging the poll prospects of the grand old party. Calling Rahul Gandhi as a friend, Kishor said that the Amethi Lawmaker needs some time to prove his mettle.
