Prime Minister Narendra Modi to dedicate ‘Statue of Unity’ on October 31, confirms Gujarat CM Vijay Rupani

New Delhi, Sept 10: Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani on Sunday announced that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will unveil the world’s tallest statue of Sardar Patel on October 31.

Speaking to the media on the backdrop of BJP national executive meeting here, Rupani said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will dedicate the prestigious statue of Unity project to the nation. He mentioned that of Patel’s 182m statue will be a symbol of the country’s unity and integrity.

Statue of Unity is the brainchild of Narendra Modi. In 2013 admits much fanfare, Narendra Modi, the then Gujarat Chief Minister and BJP’s Prime Ministerial nominee had officially laid the foundation stone of statue of Unity.
