R Madhavan to host National Geographic’s Mega Icons series

 

The first session will feature the stories of former Indian President APJ Abdul Kalam, Actor-politician Kamal Haasan, spiritual leader Dalai Lama, cricketer and skipper of the Indian team, Virat Kohli and Kiran Bedi, first women to qualify for Indian Police Service.

According to makers, the much-awaited show will be premiered on National Geographic in mid- September. During this five-part series, Madhavan will bring the anecdotes of these successful people to the small screen.

As quoted by IANS, Madhavan Lauded the content-oriented projects on digital space. He stated that the digital world has opened up the doors for newcomers to prove their talent.

The ace actor was last seen in Tamil crime Thriller Vikram-vedha along with actor Vijay Setupati. Madhavan is gearing up for his first straight Telugu movie Savyasachi which also stars Nag Chaitanya in a pivotal role.
