Jagitial(Telangana), Sept 11: In an unfortunate incidence, Telangana’s Road Transport Corporation (RTC) bus today met with an accident which claimed the lives of 45 passengers.
The bus with 60 travelers was heading towards the Kondagattu Anjaneya Swamy temple when the mishap took place. According to the media report, the state transport bus fell into a gorge near Kondaagattu area of Jagitial district.
Responding to the development, Chief Minister Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao announced the compensation of Rs. 5 lakh to the family members of each deceased.
President Ram Nath Kovind, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, BJP National President Amit Shah, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandra Babu Naidu expressed sorrow over the death of at least 45 people in the horrifying bus accident.
