Don’t misuse assembly floor to defame PM Modi: BJP lawmaker Somu Veerraju warns TDP

Vijayawada, Sept 11: Senior BJP lawmaker Somu Veerraju has accused TDP government of misusing legislative institutions to criticise Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Speaking to the media after boycotting the proceedings of the upper house, the Veerraju said that TDP leaders instead of presenting true facts on the constriction of the capital city Amaravati.

Citing the example of Chhattisgarh’s Naya Raipur project, the BJP leader stated that Raman Singh’s government had successfully developed Naya Raipur within limited resources but the yellow army members failed to meet the deadlines. The BJP poll manager also slammed TDP for providing substandard quality of buildings.

Commenting on central assistance, the upper house member stated that the state administration did not utilize the financial aid of 1,500 crore. He further added BJP has always been the well-wisher of Andhra Pradesh. The election Committee convener lambasted at Chandra Babu government for underutilization of NREGS funds worth Rs 32,000 crore sanctioned by the central government.
