Swaraj India Founder Yogendra Yadav calls on MNM Chief Kamal Haasan; asks Haasan to take a lead in TN politics

Chennai, Sept 11: Swaraj India Founder Yogendra Yadav on Monday called on Makkal Needhi Maiam Chief Kamal Haasan at his official residence here which is also a party headquarter of Haasan’s new political outfit. The former AAP leader Twitter and thanked the award-winning actor for voicing against his arrest.




During this meeting, the renowned pollster urged Kamal to take a lead in Tamil Nadu Politics. Heaping praises on MNM founder, Yadav mentioned that leaders like Kamal Haasan have a larger responsibility in national politics as well.

Earlier, reacting to Yogendra Yadav’s arrest near Tiruvannamalai, the Makkal Neethi Maiam president in no time condemned the action of state government and extended support to Swaraj India Founder. Yadav who is currently on state visit was scheduled to meet farmers protesting against the proposed Salem-Chennai Expressway project was detained by local police.

Kamal Haasan in his video message criticised and condemned the action of state government. He further added that People should have the freedom to express their views without fear.
