Bengaluru, Sept 12: Amidst the internal face-off between Jarkiholi brothers and Senior Congress leader MLA Laxmi Hebbalkar, Karnataka Congress Chief Dinesh Gundu Rao today categorically denied the reports of the alleged exit of Jarkiholi brothers. Ramesh Jarkiholi, who is Municipal Administration Minister is Kumaraswamy government is reportedly annoyed with political developments in Belagavi district.

Speaking to the media, Rao clarified that media reports coining the name of Congress lawmakers are misleading and untrue. As quoted by ANI, Rao stated that no Congress leader is joining the camp of other parties. Earlier Gundu Rao had slammed BJP for luring Congress leaders in order to destabilize the JD(S)-Congress coalition government.

If reports are anything to go by, the Municipal Administration is quite worried about the dominance of his fellow cabinet member and strongmen Water Resources Minister D K Shivakumar and local MLA Laxmi Hebbalkar. Jarkiholi accused D K Shivakumar and Laxmi Hebbalkar of micromanaging and dictating terms in the Belagavi region.
