Chandra Babu Naidu inaugurates Polavaram spillway gallery

West Godavari, Sept 12: Andhra Pradesh chief Minister Nara Chandra Babu Naidu today inaugurated the spillway gallery of the Polavaram project. The Chief Minister along with his family members graced the function. On this occasion, Water Resources Minister Devineni Uma Maheswara Rao, IT Minister Nara Lokesh, MP Maganti Babu and other officials were present.
Addressing the small gathering here, Naidu expressed happiness
over the completion of crucial spillway gallery walk. Terming the national
project as the lifeline of Andhra
Pradesh, Babu said that the prestigious irrigation project will soon turn into
a famous tourist. He lauded Polavaram officials for the
timely completion of spillway gallery.
Spillway gallery with the help of dam monitoring equipment will keep a tap on the construction site. Earlier, the TDP National President had asked officials to make sure the arrangements for tourist who were visiting Polavaram construction site.
