Jharkhand CM Raghubar Das conducts 'Padyatra' to spread cleanliness awareness

Ranchi, September 17: The whole state of Jharkhand has taken brooms in its hands to join the Swachhta Campaign started by our PM Modi on September 15. For this, Chief Minister Raghubar Das embarked on a 'Padyatra' on Sunday in an effort to spread cleanliness awareness among the people.


 

The Chief Minister reached the city's Agora roundabout earlier in the day and spoke to shop owners and others. He then swept a road, saying: "Let us come and take a vow to make India clean and healthy. We can prevent our family members from many diseases by keeping our surroundings clean."

CM Das's remark comes on the sidelines of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's 'Swachhata Seva Abhiyan' launched on Saturday. The Chief Minister was joined by Rajya Sabha member Ramvichar Netam and Ranchi Mayor Asha Lakra.

CM Das said, “With cleanliness, our city, city, state and country will also be clean, with the goal of clean India and healthy India will be fulfilled. During these activities, he participated in the cleaning program organized at Argora under the ‘Swachhta Hi Seva’ campaign.”
