Patna, Sept 17: Days after his open admission about 2019 general elections, Celebrated Pollster Prashant Kishor on Sunday officially joined the Janata Dal (United). The major development took place during the JD(U)  state executive meeting. On this occasion Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and other JD(U) official were present.

On September 10, from the platform of Indian School of Business, the political strategist had declined the reports of any political engagement. A medical professional, Prashant Kishor shot to fame with his Indian Political Action Committee (I-PAC).

In 2014 Lok Sabha elections, Kishor worked closely with Prime Minister Narendra Modi and credited for innovative poll strategies. After parting away with BJP, the 41-year professional had joined hands with JD(U)- RJD grand alliance. He was instrumental in Nitish Kumar’s victory in 2015 Bihar assembly election.
