Chandra Babu Naidu to address UN body on Zero Budget Natural Farming

New York, Sept 24: In a bid to showcase the innovative Agricultural policies adopted by Andhra Pradesh, Chief Minister Nara Chandra Babu Naidu will address a special session on Zero Budget Natural Farming (ZBNF) organized by the United Nations Environment Programme.

On September 25, under the topic 'Financing Sustainable Agriculture: Global Challenges and Opportunities', Naidu will share his vision on modern-day farming and other aspects of Zero Budget Natural Farming. He will share his experiences on comprehensive and long-term welfare majors initiated by the coastal state.

 

Launched in 2016, Zero Budget Natural Farming is the brainchild of Chandra Babu. Zero Budget Natural Farming is quite useful in safeguarding farmers from adverse climate conditions. The green initiative also ensures the availability of chemical residue free food.

The TDP President who is on five-day US visit, today called on Syed Akbaruddin the Indian Ambassador and permanent representative of India at the United Nations (UN). Naidu took to Twitter and said, “Met with Mr @AkbaruddinIndia, India’s Ambassador and Permanent Representative to @UN as part of my visit to New York, USA. Discussed the science behind ZBNF and the extraordinary impact the program has had on the farmers in AP.
