Telangana Governor E. S. L. Narasimhan flags off new Hyderabad Metro Rail line

Hyderabad, Sept 25: Telangana Governor E. S. L. Narasimhan on Monday inaugurated the new metro line from Ameerpet to L. B. Nagar. On this occasion, Narasimhan flagged off the extended services and took a small ride along with Municipal Minister KT Rama Rao, Mayor Bonthu Rammohan and Secunderabad MP Bandaru Dattatreya.


 


With this addition, existing Hyderabad metro will be the second largest metro network after Delhi. Last year, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had flagged off the Hyderabad metro services from Miyapur to Ameerpet and from Ameerpet to Nagole. The new metro line from Ameerpet to LB Nagar has 16 stations covering 16 Kilometers.

Officials of Hyderabad metro briefed Telangana Governor about the ongoing developments and future plans. Terming Hyderabad Metro as one of the best metros in the world, Telangana Governor E. S. L. Narasimhan urged people to witness the world-class facility and infrastructure developed by the state government. The Governor expressed satisfaction over the successful roll-out of extended services of Hyderabad Metro, Narasimhan.
