New Delhi, Sept 26: On the 86th birthday of former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, veteran actor Anupam Kher today shared a small clipping from the sets of, 'The Accidental Prime Minister'. The award-winning actor will portray the character of the senior Congress leader in his upcoming offering.

The 63-year old actor took Twitter and wished Manmohan Singh a happy and healthy birthday. He urged former PM to watch 'The Accidental Prime Minister'.
“I promise, you will like my portrayal. It is full of sincerity & honesty.” Kher mentioned.
Based on the book penned by Manmohan Singh's media adviser Sanjay Baru, the political drama will recreate the developments under Manmohan Singh's Prime Ministerial stint.
Directed by debutant Vijay Gutte and written by Hansal Mehta, the film will hit the theatres on December 21.
