New Delhi, Sept 28: Ahead of the crucial 2019 general elections, Senior politician and Lok Sabha MP Tariq Anwar today snapped ties with Sharad Pawar’s Nationalist Congress Party.

A prominent face in Bihar politics, Anwar represented Katihar Lok Sabha Segment also tendered his resignation from the post of Lok Sabha MP.

Speaking to the media after resigning from NCP, Anwar said that he was upset with Pawar’s surprising statement on Rafale deal. “NCP Chief Sharad Pawar indirectly gave a clean chit to PM”, he observed

On several platforms, the former Minister of State had blamed Modi on the high profile aircraft deal and asked him to come clean.
