BJP raps RaGa over statue of Unity jibe
Countering Rahul Gandhi on Statue of Unity BJP National President Amit Shah twitted, “ Dear @RahulGandhi, your family humiliated Sardar Patel, unsuccessfully tried to erase his legacy from the people’s hearts and minds. Your lies on the ‘Statue of Unity’ is another display of your visceral hatred towards Sardar Patel.”

Reacting swiftly to Rahul’s verbal attack, Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani took to Twitter and slammed Gandhi for making pity comments on Sardar Patel’s statue.
“People who are unhappy that Sardar Patel is finally getting his due are shamelessly lying. 'Statue of Unity' is Made in India and Rahul Gandhi's lies cannot change facts.” Said Rupani.
Gujarat BJP Chief Vitu Vaghani lambasted at Rahul Gandhi and said that Gandhi and his party has diminished the stature of legendry Sardar Patel.
On 31 October, marking the birth anniversary of Sardar Patel, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will unveil much anticipated ‘Statue of Unity' project. In 2013 the then Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi had officially laid the foundation stone of the same.
A brainchild PM Narendra Modi, the 182-meter-tall statue of Sardar Patel is being erected near the Sardar Sarovar Dam.
