Ahmadabad, Sept 5: Expressing concern over Hardik Patel's deteriorating health, senior Cabinet Minister Saurabh Patel has requested Patidar leader to end ongoing indefinite fast. The Patidar activist is on fast for 11 days.

Earlier, the Energy Minister had a brief interaction with the delegation of Patidar leaders where the community leaders informed minister about Hardik’s health. The delegation also presented the demands and issues raised by the PAAS (Patidar Anamat Aandolan Samiti) leader.

Speaking to the reporters, Patel said that within the constitutional framework, the state government will take all possible steps to meet the demand of Patidar Community. Taking a dig at state Congress leaders, Patel said that Patidar quota steer is the brainchild of Congress and the grand old party is trying to destabilize the elected government.

Commenting on Hardik Patel’s health, the senior BJP leader told that the Patidar leader was co-operating with the team of doctors. He suggested that Hardik should end his fast as soon as possible. The Minister stated that state government is open for discussion in order to resolve the long pending issue.

Responding to Saurabh Patel’s suggestion, Hardik took to Twitter and lambasted at Vijay Rupani led BJP government.
