Bengaluru, Sept 5: Days after the coordination meeting headed by former Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, Karnataka Congress Chief Dinesh Gundu Rao said that the much-anticipated cabinet expansion will take place in the third week of September.
Speaking to the media, Rao stated that Congress party will get its due in this cabinet expansion. The state Congress chief categorically refuted the reports of distress against the Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy.
Last week, Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy had called on Congress President Rahul Gandhi and discussed the current political situation in the state. According to media reports, Kumaraswamy urged Gandhi to clear the desk for cabinet expansion keeping eye on 2019 election.
